I also didn't include any overhead for G2A since that would muddle things a bit. These numbers assume the $20 price tag where $10 goes to EA and $10 goes to re-seller for simplicity's sake. EA already suffered a loss of profit from the 600 keys G2A didn't buy (plus any possible increase), will now lose it completely. G2A decides to either stop buying the keys altogether or reduce it to 50 to minimize their risk since the product proved itself unsell-able/undesirable. Assuming once more the $10/key profit, they suffered a loss of $500. EA doesn't initially lose (EA did sell 1,200 keys either way), but when G2A orders less, EA loses. Next time, they will order 600 keys to minimize their loses. Assuming that once again the profit from each key was $10, they made $600 and lost $600 in unsold keys. Obviously this also increases the EA profit. Next time, they will buy 1200 to increase their profit, since clearly this product proved itself to be highly sell-able. They sell all 1,000 making a profit of say $10/key, which makes it $10,000 profit altogether. People want to send a message and money is the only thing that EA understands. And that's why people don't want to give money to EA - they have a complete monopoly and shit all over it. They can be adopted by Sims and can mate with dogs. Even the 'innovative' parts are simply a window dressing. The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs Like other dog breeds, foxes and fox crossbreeds occasionally appear as randomly generated strays in Brindleton Bay, as well as pets in randomly generated households. In TS4 we get graphics from the early 2000s. People bought it, pirated it and EA still made so much profit there was never a shade of a doubt it would be discontinued. Maxis and EA didn't need to warn that if the installment isn't successful it won't make it anymore - because there was no need. All sorts of people played it and sung its praises. They were pushing crazy animations, graphics, putting a lot of intricacies into the game. After the Battlefront 2 debacle, a lot of people are turning away from EA and their practices.įor me, Sims is the only EA game I play - I played all 4 installments and TS4 is awful when you compare it to what TS, TS2 & TS3 was doing in their time. Even if what you came in for wasn't available.Ī lot of players play more than just TS4 from EA. Hey, sometimes stuff just catches your eye, you figure "I need/want that," and next thing you know, you've got a bunch more stuff than you came in for. And some hooks that screw into the wall that are meant for mugs, but I'm not sure they'll help me, because I don't know if I'd trust them in just drywall, and mugs aren't light (I have a LOT of mugs, and was hoping to be able to put some on display, like I was able to do with my pint glass, shot glass, and stein collection). (And if their wall shelves were priced better than ones I'd saved to purchase later on Amazon, I would have grabbed some there.) Oh, right, I did also grab some hardware to hang stuff at home, so I could finally hang a trio of Star Wars movie poster wooden plaques. If I wasn't restraining myself between Christmas and new home expenses, I'd have likely picked up some Fallout and Zelda pint glasses and/or shot glasses, too. You can also watch The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs DLC trailer to see some of the cute new neighborhood pets that just arrived to the game.I went in looking for C&D and other packs (they had none of the ones on my sister's wish list, and I already had everything but C&D), but ended up getting a couple pieces of Fallout art to hang in my home and some ornaments.
